Check the calendar for times. Currently, we are having just one practice time 7:00 to 8:30pm on Mon, Wed and Fri. Please come and continue wrestling. It is free and still too early for spring sports. Keep your child involved and enter a post season tournament or two. Check the tournament listings tab. I have tried to break down the tournaments into elite, intermediate and novice to help you know what tournament to enter based on your child's experience level.
Please make every effort to ensure that at least one parent or guardian attends the parent meetings. This a great source of information and allows you a forum to raise any questions or concerns. If you miss the parents meetings please see Documents to view a copy of the meeting minutes.
Our goal is to teach the basic skills needed to wrestle now and to build upon through high school. We want everyone to see the rewards of their hard work and to enjoy competing. Above all, we want to show good sportsmanship, win or lose, and how to learn and grow from both. Wrestling teaches self confidence which reaches far beyond the mat and lasts a lifetime.
Here is a great letter written by a father to his son after a disappointing day in a wrestling tournament.
We also have cheerleaders for our wrestlers. Cheerleading is now open to all, with priority given to those that have siblings wrestling for the Bruins.
If your daughter would like to be a cheerleader, please contact our head cheerleading coach.
